Intellectual And Developmental Disabilities Work
In addition to our primary work with corporate and government organizations, Crafted Leadership also works with leaders in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our commitment is personal. Nancy’s adult son, Austin, lives with IDD and as a result is dependent on the care and leadership of those around him.
Because of Austin’s experience, Nancy and Julianna recognize the important and complex work IDD leaders do, often without professional development budgets or professional communities to support leadership potential and development.
We work with IDD leaders in three primary ways:
- Working with the leadership teams of organizations that serve the IDD population
- Offering a limited number of IDD Leaders Scholarships* for our Lead by Design program. This scholarship covers all tuition except materials
- Providing executive coaching
* Prerequisites:
- Currently works full-time in the IDD field with plans to stay in the field
- Holds a leadership position or is interested in being a leader in their organization
- Is committed to personal growth and leadership development
Crafted Leadership gave me the skills and theoretical cornerstones for creating a conscious culture, which has created a sense of purpose and devotion in my team.
